She is not part of a union. She is not in politics. She is not a on a debate team. Yet my daughter feels the need to negotiate her time spent in bed.
When it is nap time she says "Kaylee wake up 1 hour." I say "NO, Kaylee doesn't NOT wake up in 1 hour!". She says, "ok mommy- 2 hours." I say "yes Kaylee you can wake up in 2 hours."
When it is bed time she says "Kaylee wake up 2 hours." I say "NO, Kaylee doesn't NOT wake up in 2 hours!". She says, "ok mommy 4 hours, Kaylee prize?" she is negotiating a surprise for sleeping. Are you kidding me?
What the heck? Since when does a two year old know how/when to negotiate?
