Fingerpaints
I decided to face my fears and let Kaylee try her new fingerpaints. Auntie Ceire bought these for her, and I honestly thought that she would keep them at her house for when Kaylee visits. But she sent them home with her. Last week Kaylee asked if she could open them. Relucantly I agreed, and this is what the outcome was. I know I need to loosen up some and be OKAY with making messes, but it is really hard for me.

She's so cute! And I think the painting rocks! I'm with Crista and Harry, you should frame it!
Also, regarding the mess art projects make... look into getting a vinyl tablecloth (walmart or target has 'em) and use it every time y'all do art projects. They're water proof so spilled paint, etc. doesn't matter. They are such sanity savers.

i am with you on the messes. mary thomas has started to grab the spoon with her left hand to feed herself rice cereal. and if i'm not holding her right hand, she's trying to put her thumb in her mouth. i'm constantly grabbing hands COVERED with rice cereal. i keep a wet washcloth right there, but i CANNOT keep things clean. it drives me INSANE!!
kaylee's laugh is like music to my ears. love the videos on the latests post!!
