Negative

Today Ainslee had her follow-up appointment from her visit to the ER last Thursday night. Her doctor gave us the results of her blood culture (the only result we were waiting on) and it was negative! Yeah! We were so excited to find out the good news! I asked the doctor why her fever spiked and what made her get so sick. She said that her blood count showed that she had a viral infection, that her body just had trouble fighting. One thing lead to the next and that is what landed us in the ER. I guess her little (9 week old) body just couldn't handle the stress of an infection. I'm glad that is all behind us now. And i am definitely glad to have my baby back. She is laughing, and cooing, and more alert, and a happy baby........just like she was before she got sick.
